Vaux Big Picture High School has partnered with Harrisburg University and NuPaths to offer the Associate Website Developer program at Vaux Big Picture HS for select students from Vaux and El Centro Big Picture HS.
Associate Website Developer Program at Vaux Big Picture
4 IT Certifications | 8 college credits
The program will run throughout the school year, beginning September 24, with classes on Tuesdays from 12:15 - 3 PM and Thursdays from 10:30 AM to 3 PM. You'll complete 3 courses and a project to learn the skills to become an Associate Website Developer. You'll earn up to 4 IT certifications and 8 college credits. Career services support is provided for those who want to enter the workforce after graduating high school.
Associate Website Developers work with the marketing and graphic design teams to build and maintain websites. They focus on web interfaces and user interactions throughout the development application life cycle. In addition to building sites, this role also works on testing, troubleshooting and developing new features to enhance existing web sites. Complete the NuPaths application to register for the Associate Website Developer program at Vaux Big Picture HS. You will also be prompted to complete a series of registration exams once you submit the application. Please plan on 30-40 minutes to complete the full registration process. Complete the application form on a computer. Do not use a tablet or smartphone to complete the application.
