NuPaths Partnership Boosts Educational Opportunities for River Rock Academy Students

A new agreement between NuPaths and River Rock Academy’s Lancaster campus, gives academy students the ability to enroll in a unique and innovative Technical Support Specialist program while simultaneously earning up to 10 college credits.

NuPaths will offer the Technical Support Specialist program at River Rock Academy beginning in September. River Rock will enroll ten juniors and seniors in the program. This partnership will help the students build a strong foundation in the IT field with courses in IT Fundamentals, Productivity Software and Communication Software, and Technical support for the Modern Enterprise. The program will prepare them to handle challenging technical support issues across a variety of computer hardware and operating system platforms.

“River Rock Academy looks forward to partnering with the NuPaths program at Harrisburg University to provide more educational opportunities for our students that will lead them on the path to a successful career,” said Steve Capoferri, CEO of River Rock Academy.

The Technical Support Specialist program includes 4 courses and students can earn up to 6 IT certifications and 10 college credits.

  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals
  • CompTIA A+
  • Microsoft Office Specialist – Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Office Specialist – PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Office Specialist – Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Office Specialist – Microsoft Outlook
