Veteran Employment Support After Service: The Governor's Office announced $600,000 in ​PA state funding to three workforce development projects as part of the Veterans Employment Program (VEP), helping to connect veterans, members of the guard or reserves, and spouses of veterans or active-duty guards or reserves with job opportunities and employment support.

As part of the state funding, NuPaths will train 18 eligible after-service participants from throughout PA for entry-level IT and Tech jobs. Programs are in an accessible distance-learning format and provide technical skills training, industry certifications, and the job search and readiness skills needed to begin an apprenticeship or full-time IT job.  After service candidates can apply for any of NuPaths' programs:

  • Associate Website Developer
  • Digital Marketing Assistant
  • IT Security Analyst
  • Network Technician
  • Project Analyst
  • Software Testing Analyt
  • Technical Support Specialist

Eligible candidates include:

  1. PA Veterans with a discharge other than a dishonorable discharge
  2. Members of the guard or reserves
  3. Spouses of veterans or active-duty guards or reserves
