Network Technician Program Registration

TUITION FREE: No Cost to students or parents.

NuPaths, cofounded by Harrisburg University, is a registered pre-apprenticeship training provider, with programs that prepare students for well-paying and in-demand tech jobs.  Cumberland County high schools have partnered with Harrisburg University and NuPaths to offer the Network Technician program at Carlisle High School in Carlisle, PA  for select students.

5 IT Certifications | 8 college credits

The program will run throughout the school year with classes every other day from 7:50 AM - 9:25 AM.  You'll complete 3 courses and a project to learn the skills to become a Network Technician. You'll earn up to 5 IT certifications and 8 college credits as well as credits toward high school graduation.  Career services support is provided for those who want to enter the workforce after graduating high school.

Location: Carlisle High School, Carlisle, PA
Eligible Students and Schools: Seniors and juniors at Big Spring, Boiling Springs, Carlisle, and Cumberland Valley high schools
Schedule: 7:50 AM - 9:25 AM, every other day for the 2023-2024 school year

Network Technicians install, maintain and troubleshoot computer networks and data communication equipment. They also test and configure operating systems, repair hardware, perform preventive maintenance and apply security measures to ensure reliable networks. As communication and collaboration across networks continues to grow, companies rely on network technicians to support the critical business applications that keep their organizations running effectively. Complete the NuPaths application to register for the Network Technician courses at Carlisle HS.

Use a personal email address when registering.  Do not use a school issued email address.  A personal email address will allow us to communicate with you over the summer and after high school for career services support.
