At NuPaths, we believe all of our instructors are the best - and we think our students agree! We would like to introduce you to three of our cyber security instructors. Read on to learn what they have to share about their backgrounds, the courses they currently teach, what they like about teaching, and more.
Cristian teaches IT Security Operations courses at NuPaths and has active certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+. His background includes 7 years in IT, and he recently received a position at Snyk.io as a System Engineer. Snyk is an open source security platform designed to help software-driven businesses enhance developer security.
When asked what he likes best about working in IT, Cristian says he enjoys solving problems and creating great solutions that continue to improve the company I work for. In regards to teaching, he describes that it’s enjoyable to see his students figure out things after you help show them how it works. It’s gratifying to pass your knowledge along to others so they can reach the same goals you want to reach yourself. One of his most rewarding teaching experiences so far was having the opportunity to teach a student who doubted themselves. However, after spending one-on-one time working with them, they were able to pass the Security+ certification.
