An associate website developer works with the marketing and graphic design teams to build and maintain websites. They focus on web interfaces and user interactions throughout the development application life cycle. In addition to building sites, this role also works on testing, troubleshooting and developing new features to enhance existing web sites. The internet is constantly growing and changing, making those on the web development team critical to an organization’s success.
There are 3 courses, business skills workshops, 4 certifications, 8 college credits and 1 project in the program, totaling 189 hours of courses, labs and workshops.
Credits provided by Harrisburg University (HU) and are transferable to HU. Credits are eligible for transfer to other colleges and universities, but transfer credits accepted are at the sole discretion of the receiving institution.
Foundations in Information Technology
The course focuses on the basics of computer hardware, software, mobile computing, networking, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies.
Focus on both key and new features of Adobe Photoshop CC as well as core functions of HTML and CSS as you explore web design and development fundamentals and website trend.
Learn how to manage the application life cycle, build the user interface by using HTML5, format the user Interface with CSS, and code interactions with JavaScript.
