You could be part of managing a company's central IT nervous system. As a network technician you will set-up the networks, protect them from cyber attacks and troubleshoot computer and network systems.
There are 3 courses, business skills workshops, 5 certifications, 8 college credits and 1 project in the 28 week program.
Credits provided by Harrisburg University (HU) and are transferable to HU. Credits are eligible for transfer to other colleges and universities, but transfer credits accepted are at the sole discretion of the receiving institution.
Foundations in Information Technology
The course focuses on the basics of computer hardware, software, mobile computing, networking, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies.
Managing cloud services and storage with Microsoft Azure, along with monitoring and troubleshooting services is explored, along with the principles of installing, building, repairing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop, laptop, and server computers.
